Thanksgiving Beginnings
My kids asked me the other day “Why do we celebrate Thanksgiving?” I started to give the traditional pilgrims and turkey answer, but then I realized….I had no idea when it truly all started.
I was so inspired, but not surprised, to find out that the true origin of this wonderful holiday was rooted in God and begun by one our most prominent founding fathers. Take a little time today and click on this manuscript from The Library of Congress and find out how it all started.
